Whilst attending a 'Fairy Fayre' in nearby Billington we stopped at the village of Whalley in Lancashire.
This is the old police station, which now appears to be a private residence.
There is no shortage of places to have a drink and a bite to eat. The Dog Inn...
...De Lacy Arms...
...The Swan Hotel...
...and the Whalley Arms. I'm sure there are more nearby.
In the background is the parish church and Whalley Abbey. We didn't have time to explore so this is the only photo I have so far.
