Tenby, Pembrokeshire - 20th-27th Aug 2010 (Part1)

Tenby in Pembrokeshire is probably our favourite holiday destination in the British Isles, though there are still many places to experience.  There is lots to do with children and the beaches are quite clean.  This has been a regular holiday destination for us since long before our children were born.  In fact both Lisa and I had been to Tenby as children, Lisa many times.  This year I took so many photos I thought I would break it down into several posts.

A view from the harbour of the different coloured houses on the northern sea front of Tenby.

St. Catherine's Rock
The site of a disused fort which used to be open to the public as late as the 1990s but has been sealed off for health and safety reasons. It is officially known as St. Catherine's Island.

Tenby was a walled town and there are arches at various stages along the wall.
These ones are called the Five Arches.  It was formerly the south-west gate into the town.
