Powfoot is on the south coast of Dumfries and Galloway. We loved it at Powfoot, mainly because the sea was right in and the road was only a few feet away. The weather was miserable but we made the most of it for the 20 minutes we spent there.
Powfoot was spread out along the coast. The white houses in the distances are part of the same village.
